Fairy Fort at Dun-a-mallaght
Set behind Sheskburn Centre and tourist office the large mound of Dun-a-Mallaght (meaning ..Fortress of the curse) surrounded by a group of trees can be seen from the road nearby. A prehistoric site of some kind and may have been used for ritualistic purposes.
