This 20 mile (approx) Moyle
walk winds its way via a way marked trail through the valleys and
mountains between Ballycastle and Glenariff. The route passes through 5 of the
famous 9 glens.
Much of the route is on forest tracks with a few rough sections over
exposed mountain tops with breathtaking views.
The walk is steep in some sections and climbs to a height of 508m/ 1,668ft.
The walk is well serviced by parking lay-bys, and generally walkers find it best
to use two cars and park one at either end of the section of walk to be
undertaken.
As well as the fantastic scenery the area is full of fascinating geology,
wildlife, history and folklore.
Below are some maps with the routes.
